Zigong lanterns will appear at the 2022 Mid-Autumn Festival across the Taiwan Straits (Kunshan)
Last year, on the opening night of the 2021 Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Fair, Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Fair and Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Fair concluded a friendly exchange relationship. The two sides will continue to use "lights" as a medium to promote all-round exchanges and cooperation in economy, culture and tourism.
This time, there is a new story. In the autumn of this year, Zigong lanterns will appear again in the 2022 Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Festival across the Taiwan Straits (Kunshan), lighting up Zhouzhuang Ancient Town, "the first water town in China", and telling the public about Zhouzhuang with its unique charm.
Lantern Festival is a pageant of lanterns, but also a festival for the people. The theme of this year's Mid-Autumn Festival is "Charming Treasure Island of Great Kunshan Mountain", and the combination of "traditional lanterns and interactive experience lights" is adopted to create "Treasure Island style", "Gaoshan tea", "Zhouzhuang opera", "Lusu prosperity", "Blooming flowers" and other lighting groups, highlighting the core element of cross-Straits cultural exchange.
